1969 LIVE LP - EXCELLENT
This a rare live LP of Jethro Tull entitled "Do You Know Anything About Fitting Horses With Horseshoes? WEDO!"; probably the longest title ever of a Jethro Tull LP! Tracklisting: Side A: My Sunday Feeling; Martin's Tune; To Be Sad As A Man Will Be; Back To The Family; Side B: Dharma For One; Nothing Is Easy; A Song For Jeffrey. "To Be Sad As A Man Will Be" is "To Be Sad Is A Mad Way To Be".
This concert was recorded live at the Konserthuset, Stockholm, Sweden on 9th January, 1969 and has been released earlier on numerous other live LP's. The audio quality of this release is very good and sometimes excellent, but one needs to adjust the turntable's pitch because the recording plays a little too fast.
There is no indication of where, when or on which record label this LP was released; the only indication is the matrix number i.e. 80061 which is the same matrix number of the live LP "Living The Flute Blues"; I remember that I bought it at a record fair in Germany. The disc goes in a white paper inner sleeve and then in a single glossy cardboard outer sleeve.
The LP is in very good condition; there is some surface noise here and there but certainly no deterioration in the sound quality; there are no scratches that cause jumps. The inner and outer sleeves are in absolute mint condition; there is no tear or wear, no writing, no nicks, no stains, it is like new. Overall, this LP can be graded as in Excellent condition.
An early great live performance, and a rare LP release with an impossible title, a must have to complete your Jethro Tull collection!
