JETHRO TULL - LIVING IN THE PAST - 1972 UK 2LP - EXCELLENT
This is a rare UK double LP release of Jethro Tull's 1972 double album "Living In The Past"; Tracks: Disc 1: Side A: Song For Jeffrey; Love Story; Christmas Song; Living In The Past; Driving Song; Bourée; Side B: Sweet Dream; Singing All Day; Witch's Promise; Teacher; Inside; Just Trying To Be; Disc 2: Side A (Recorded Live at Carnegie Hall, New York): By Kind Permission Of; Dharma For One; Side B: Wond'ring Again; Locomotive Breath; Life Is A Long Song; Up The 'Pool; Dr. Bogenbroom; From Later; Nursie. No playing times are mentioned on the records nor on the sleeve.
This double LP was released in the UK on the Chrysalis Records (green) label, catalogue/release number CJT 1 (records respectively CJT 1 and CJT 2), manufactured in the UK; it is the second UK release (almost directly after the first release) of Living In The Past. Each LP goes in an inner sleeve fixed inside the booklet. The booklet is of 12 pages full of nice colour photographs (see picture). The outer gatefold sleeve is made of semi-hard glossy cardboard.
Both records are in excellent condition; there is hardly any surface noise and absolutely no deterioration or lessening in the sound quality. There are no scratches and no jumps. The inner sleeves and the booklet are also in excellent condition; there is no tear, there are no nicks, there are no stains; the bottoms are taped to avoid wear; the booklet is still stapled inside the outer sleeve and is still in its original position. The outer sleeve is also in excellent condition; no tear, no nicks, no writing; there is only a very tear in the top left corner hardly visible on the picture; both outside edges are taped to avoid wear. Overall, this double LP can be graded as in Excellent condition.
A rare homebase release in excellent condition, a must have for your Jethro Tull collection!!
