12” Long Play Hard Cover Gate-Fold with All Colour Picture Pages, Lyrics Etc.

Records: EXCELLENT+: Spindle marks and some surface marks. Very good sound quality. Sleeve/Inner Sleeve: EXCELLENT+ This outer was always too large for a sleeve protector but has always been well cared for. Despite this, it has suffered some minor mishaps during its 40-odd-year journey. The staple fixings are showing signs of stress (see photo) and the first of the two fixed record pouches has given way on two sides These were repaired with sellotape but that tape has now gone and left gum staining behind (again, see photo). Other than those minor issue this album is in good shape. The records themselves are now housed in Mofi Master Sleeve for their protection.
A well played and well loved album that has always been treated with the respect it deserves.

RECORD GRADING:

I adhere to the Record Collector's Grading System, which is ...

(M) MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

(EXC) EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

(VG) VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

(G) GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.

(F) FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

(P) POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

(B) BAD: (maybe that should be SAD!) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
