JETHRO TULL - STAND UP - 1969 UK LP - EXCELLENT +
This is a very rare UK LP release of Jethro Tull's 1969 album "Stand Up"; Tracks: Side 1: A New Day Yesterday; Jeffrey Goes To Leicester Square; Bourée; Back To The Family; Look Into The Sun; Side 2: Nothing Is Easy; Fat Man; We Used To Know; Reasons For Waiting; For A Thousand Mothers. No playing times are indicated on the disc's centre labels nor on the sleeve.
This LP was released in the Uk in 1969 on the Island Records label (palm tree), catalogue/release number ILPS 9103, made in the UK; it is one of the first UK releases of "Stand Up". The disc is made of thick quality vinyl and comes in a white paper inner sleeve with centre cut-out on both sides and with plastic protection on the inside, and goes in the well known gatefold sleeve with the pop-up figures inside (see pictures).
Thanks to the very good quality of the vinyl and the plastic protection inside the inner sleeve, the record has remained in excellent condition; there is almost no surface noise and certainly no deterioration in the sound quality. The inner sleeve is like new. The outer sleeve is also in excellent condition; there is no tear or wear, there are no nicks, there are no stains, there is no writing, no dirty spots, etc.. there is ony a small tear next to the pop-up figures, hardly visible on the picture. Overall, this LP can be graded as in Excellent Plus condition!
A very rare UK first release of Stand Up in splendid condition; a must have to complete your Jethro Tull collection!!
