** Rare 1969 UK PINK ISLAND (white 'i') LABEL A2/B2 pressing of this classic JETHRO TULL vinyl LP, WITH POP-UP GATEFOLD SLEEVE AND TEXTURED LABELS **
A Very Good+ condition disc. Some light surface marks and hairline marks, none of which cause any audible issues. A few visible centre spindle marks. No skips, jumps, sticking, warps, deep scratches, or writing on labels. Very clean textured labels. Very good sound quality generally, with some minor surface noise in places. A very listenable LP. Tested on a Thorens turntable.
It is often stated that there is no matrix number stamped on the second side of early issues of this LP - but there IS. The run-out groove area is so small on Side 2 that the matrix number is partly stamped (very faintly) into the label itself. In this case it can be seen around the 1'o'clock area of the label - but this may differ with other copies.
Sleeve in Excellent- condition. Some minor general wear. Stand-up figures in excellent condition, with no damage. Some minor creasing. Name written in inside of gatefold sleeve (above song credits). No seam splits anywhere. Spine in good condition, and all text still legible.
Supplied in white inner-sleeve which is in excellent condition with no creasing and no seam splits, but some age-related discolouration in places.

GRADING:
All records are graded using the 'Record Collector' format:
MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
