Description

This is an original 1st UK vinyl pressing of the classic 1969 Jethro Tull album - Stand Up
On Pink Island 'Eye' label (later pinks would not have the orange eye motif on the logo Ref ILPS 9103 Matrices are the reference and +A // +B - ABSOLUTE first pressing - they come no earlier
Record Grades as a VG, (audiably VG/EX) labels are clean and free from writing and marks, a little spindlewear under the light - There are some surface marks
so I have test played the record using a decent turntable, no jumps, theres a little crackle ....very little though, and here and there not at all constantly, a handful
of clicks on the outro to A New Day, maybe 2 or 3 clicks on the entire rest of side 1 - Side 2 would be an EX on its own
Inner sleeve is a plain white with hole centre, poly lined
Outer Gatefold sleeve - First and Foremost the pop up has been ripped out which is a shame, if it wasnt for this Id have given it a VG+ - its a little yellowed, spine
is easily readable though is slightly vertically creased, a little ringwear showing at the rear and some vry slight edge wear but not a lot of creasing. Will let you make your own mind up about the missing pop up - that being said this is still a very rare 1st press of what, for many, is Tulls best album
