On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Jethro Tull called 'Stand Up' and is an ORIGINAL UK 1969 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' Pink Island 'Circle' label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - WITH A DIFFERENT COVER!!!!  IF YOU TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES OF THE SPINE ON THIS LP - YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE IT HAS PRINTED 'ISLAND ILPS 9103' ONLY!!!!  AND ON NO PART OF THE SPINE IS THE WORD 'STEREO' USED!!!!  THIS WAS CHANGED IMMEDIATELY AFTER THIS LP WAS RELEASED - AND ALL LATER PRESSINGS HAVE THE WORD 'STEREO' PRINTED ON THE SPINE NEXT TO THE CAT NUMBER!  HOWEVER THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS COVER EVER MADE WITH NO MENTION OF THE WORD STEREO AT ALL!!!!  THIS LP ALSO HAS THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' ISLAND 'CIRCLE LOGO' PINK 'TEXTURED' LABELS, AND THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS MATRIXES ENDING IN +A & +B (THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE)!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS AN 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING WITH 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS MATRIXES, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS LABELS, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS COVER!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' ISLAND 'CIRCLE' LOGO LABEL, 1ST PRESS +A/+B MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD 'POP UP' E.J.DAY COVER (WITH NO STEREO TEXT ON THE SPINE)!!!!   THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Island UK 'Earliest' 1st pressing from 1969 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is ILPS 9103 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Textured' Island label (see picture) and is a Stereo 1st Pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Jethro Tull at their best!!!! Any fan of Jethro Tull, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 1 TINY hairline type mark, only 2 or 3 light hairlines, only 2 or 3 MEGA light wispy scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, only 4 or 5 VERY light clicks (from the TINY hairline type mark), NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!!  The 'Earliest' 1st Press Gatefold 'Pop-Up' Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, barely ANY spinal wear AT ALL (only the MEGA faintest possible), only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), NO rubbing, NO ringwear, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! The 'Pop-Up' Figures are in BRILLIANT condition and work PERFECTLY!!!!  The unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO yellowing, NO grubbyness, NO rubbing and NO writing - apart from an absolutely ULTRA faint impression/trace of something (probably the original price) towards the VERY top (but NO actual writing).  However this is so IMPOSSIBLY faint (see pictures of cover back) that it is IMPOSSIBLE to notice!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
