HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL PRESSING - A SUPERB EXAMPLE

It has been archived from the early 70s - an immaculate vinyl!

WHERE AS MANY COPIES OF 'THICK AS A BRICK' (and other early Tull LPs)  SUFER FROM BAD PRESSING NOISES..THIS COPY IS A LOVELY EXAMPLE

IT REALLY IS QUITE A FIND IN THIS ORIGINAL PRESSING.

This pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.

A COUPLE OF  spider lines around the centre hole, and no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever.

SOME LIGHT DULLING ON THE VINYL THAT DOES NOT AFFECT THE PLAY AT ALL

There is barely a hint of any fine whisp lines, and thats it-  nothing else!  Just a few little dust specs are on the vinyl when we slid it for checking..

IT REMAINS IN ASTONISHING VISUAL CONDITION.

When we played it through we heard the tiniest of static in the dead grooves, and a couple of tiny little dust pops, THAT WAS ABOUT IT!  This is  a fantastic listen.

a professional hoover cleaner could get this even higher playability!

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

Correct  first UK issued earliest FULL SIZE NEWSPAPER SLEEVE from 1972 (Later copies were standard size without the 'fold' at the bottom)

We need to not say just how impossible it is to find a CORRECT 1st edition sleeve like this, without wear, rough edges, tatty corners, tears on the fold at the bottom, stains and discolour and lose pages inside..

 This is in simply incredible condition, quite amazing how it has survived so clean.

THE TEXTURED NEWSPAPER REMAINS SUPERB CLEAN AND WHITE

The edges are all super clean with just a few spots/traces of rub, at all , and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition

No powdery white ringwear - NO ring press of any note, and all edges are super crisp with hardly a hint of feather or wear..

The fold at the bottom is crisp and has no wear

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition -superb.

THE GATEFOLD IS AS NEW- all pages are secure and immaculate, possibly never thumbed!

the 'spine' if you can call it that, shows the titles perfectly.

We cannot add any more than this! ITS A BEAUTY!

WE FEEL YOU MAY NEVER SEE A SLEEVE THIS GOOD AGAIN.. ITS EASILY THE BEST WE HAVE SEEN IN 20 YEARS!
