Earliest 1st Pressing Matrices
Cover: 1st pressing gatefold laminated outer cover and unlaminated inner. In Excellent condition for its age. No writings/doodles or seam splits - except for the spine which has a 3" split. You can tell the difference between the UK and French 1st pressings - the UK has internal flip-backs - the French cover does not. Apart from this, they are almost identical.
Labels: Near Mint. Textured Island 'eyeball' labels - beautiful.
Vinyl: Play tested. Looks and plays VG. Has some light feathering and surface marks. No skips/jumps but has light crackle throughout. Would benefit from a clean - not played for many years until I play-tested it.

Gradings.......
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
