Jethro Tull LP This Was UK Mono Island ILP 985.This is Tull's very first UK LP and this is the original mono pressing on the first Island label-pink with black and orange circle logo.

This is the hardest Tull UK LP to find and while not perfect by any means this copy is in excellent condition and the best one I have seen for some years.

The gatefold cover retains a strong stiff feel and remains clear of any writing,tears etc.The outer gatefold has a few creases and the mild scratches one can see in an artificial light on any glossy laminated cover like this!The matt inner gatefold and spine remain in top condition.Definitley grades at excellent EX.

The disc has a couple of marks that do not affect the sound and underlying marks appear in artificial light but these have no affect on sound.The labels are perfect.Again grades at EX.

Overall grades at EX/EX(Record Collector grading standard)

Hence a chance to get this rare pressing of Jethro Tull's first UK LP in, whilst not perfect condition,a very acceptable excellent condition.
