This record is in excellent condition. It has faint spindle marks visible on each label but there are no pen marks, stains or scuffs anywhere. The centres show minimal wear and are not worn or loose. Overall the labels are clean, bright and in good shape but with the light spindle marks as mentioned.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides have a lovely lustre and have nothing serious or deep visible in normal light but there is some incredibly light sleeve 'scuffs' and the odd minor thin line or mark showing when angled. These are all faint and minor but are a sign of use and can be seen when angled. These and some more incredibly light wispy lines are visible under very bright light but again nothing remotely deep or sinister. The record has no serious scuffs, nasty deep marks or blemishes, has a lovely vivid lustre and overall is in nice condition but does have very faint light lines and some signs of use as mentioned.
I play tested the record and it played well overall with nice clear audio for the majority and no skips or sticks. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is little to no arm movement noticeable. The vast majority of the audio is very clear with only minimal traces of surface noise in places. However there is a couple of brief periods of light interference audible. Firstly there is one single pop in track 1 on side 2. This side then plays until the end with really nice ex+ audio. Side 2 is similar but has a small mark in track 1 which causes some(10-12) light ticks. These occur in a mellow part of the track and although faint can be heard. As well as these in track 1 there is also a tiny spot in track 6(side 2) which cause 3-4 ticks. These are again not loud ticks caused by deep marks but softly ones audible faintly due to the mellow audio in which they occur. Overall I still enjoyed the whole play test despite the brief periods of interference mentioned, and I feel a grade of EX is fair and accurate considering the visual appearance and the audio as a whole.
The gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition. It has only light wear to the edges and corners with the text along the spine all clearly legible. There are no splits anywhere and the sleeve as a whole is still rock solid. There are no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere and no major issues with creasing or ring marks. There is however some grubby marks to the front and rear. These are noticeable on each side, along with a couple of long indentations on the front. Inside the gatefold has no issues and is clean, bright and looks superb. Overall a solid sleeve with only light wear but one that has the grubby marks and a few minor issues as mentioned. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It contains its original plain white inner which is in excellent- condition with no splits, tears or pen marks but some light creasing and minor staining to each side.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.I hope my photos are comprehensive enough but if you have any questions then don't hesitate to contact me.
