Description
Jethro Tull---"This Was"---Original UK Pressed MONO In EX Playing Condition On The Pink Eye Island Label---With Wide Spine---A & B From 1968
This is a UK original copy from 1968 in mono on the pink eye Island label, cat. no. ILP 985 with matrix A and B.
Vinyl: EX. The vinyl is in lovely condition with a great shine and just a few little marks. It plays with superb audio and has some very light surface noise which can sometimes be heard, mainly in quiet parts. Side 2 runoff is a little noisier but not too bad.
Labels: EX/VG. Side 1 label is in great condition with no markings. There are just a few light spindle lines. Side 2 has a little staining and small written initials at the top. Also has light spindle marks.
Sleeve: VG+. Wide spine laminated sleeve is in very solid condition with a lovely shine to front and back. Inside the gatefold is very clean and tidy with a little edge discolouration. Wide spine has suffered a bit from crushing over the last almost 50 years and has 4 cracks across it in the laminate and 3 cms of laminate lift at the bottom. Better than most old mono ones you'll see, though.
With a low start price you could get yourself a real bargain.
