Description
THIS IS AN AUCTION FOR THE SECOND LP BY JETHRO TULL ENTITLED "STAND UP" RELEASED IN 1969 ON ISLAND RECORDS CAT NO ILPS 9103. THIS IS AN EARLY PRESSING ON THE PINK "I" LABEL WITH THE ORIGINAL "POP UP" SLEEVE AND THE MATRIX NUMBERS OF ILPS+9103+A2 FACTORY STAMPED ON SIDE A. STRANGELY ENOUGH THERE IS NO MATRIX VISIBLE ON SIDE 2 AS THE RUN OUT GROOVE WAS TOO SMALL TO FIT IT ON.
THE ORIGINAL GATEFOLD SLEEVE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH SOME LIGHT STORAGE WEAR TO THE EDGES AND CORNERS. THE INSIDE OF THE GATEFOLD AND UNIQUE POP UP IS IN EXCELLENT+ CONDITION AND STILL LOOKS REALLY GREAT.
THE HEAVY EARLY PRESS VINYL HAS RETAINED AN EXCELLENT SHINE AND I AM HAPPY TO GRADE THE VINYL AS VISUALLY BEING IN EXCELLENT+ CONDITION. THERE ARE ONE OR TWO VERY LIGHT SUPERFICAIL MARKS ON SIDE 2 BUT THESE HAVE NO IMPACT ON THE AUDIO. THE RECORD SITS NICE AND FLAT ON THE TURNTABLE AND PLAYS THROUGH WITHOUT ANY SKIPS OR JUMPS. THE AUDIO IS A CREDIT TO THE HEAVY VINYL AND WAS A REAL TREAT TO LISTEN TOO. OVERALL I WOULD GRADE THE AUDIO AS EXCELLENT+.

Please note that i combine shipping for multiple buys. Anyone bidding who does not have feedback will have their bid cancelled straight away. Grading:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
