Description
This is a rare 1/500 private pressing of Jim Croce - Facets LP.
Jim recorded this at RPL Studios in Camden, New Jersey / 1966, and sold at his gigs. This was given to me by Jim after one of our many "excursions" through the Pennsylvania countryside visiting friends and playing music while he was waiting for his major label debut to come out.
The record has gone through many moves over the years and has some damage to the cover [see photo #2] with a full seam split. The green title strip on the front has some soiling also.
The vinyl has scratches & marks but plays amazingly good with some light ticks and no skips. And I mean very light ticks. It's one of those records that plays WAY better than it looks.
Recently one of these went for $1325.00 in VG++ condition...this is certainly not up to those standards but like I said: I listened expecting the worst and was pleasantly surprised.
They don't press vinyl like this anymore and it's a MONO recording which certainly helps.
