Description

What a rare JIM JACKSON blues 78 recorded in October of 1923. On the VOCALION Record label! The record # is: 1144. This is one of the first and biggest "race records" of the early blues recordings. The song "Kansas City Blues-part 1" is on Side A. and on Side B. is: "Kansas City Blues-part 2". The record looks to be in just exceptionally nice condition. I would grade this at VG++ although because of it's age and condition it is close to Near Mint (visually graded). Beautiful high gloss finish is still evident! The labels are in wonderful condition, with no writing or real wear. I have just made a major purchase of ultra rare rock, jazz & blues albums! They were from Radio Station Promotion Manager Lester "Len" Miller and are from his personal collection.
