Description

Okay, here we have something that it seems is virtually unknown. It's a 7" from 1983, from a New Yorker named Jim Whiting. It was self-released on Black and White Records, and is a nifty clear vinyl. But who cares about that, the music is what really matters. The first track, It's Not the Same, is a midtempo garagey post punk song. The second track, Nothing Lost, is a great raw powerpop track worthy of being comped. The third track, The Best Part, is a more spacey and slightly phychedelic garage-wave track. The best song, however, is the final track, which early-80s electronic music collectors will go crazy over!. He ditches all instruments and uses only an 808 drum machine and a synthesizer for an absolutely awesome dark minimal electro track. You probably won't be seeing this one again any time soon, so get on it now! The cover is VG+, with minimal wear. There's some writing in felt tip on the back cover and the side A record label. The vinyl is VG+ and plays great.
