THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE, 10", metal Reprise (South African-Teal) ACETATE one side "Voodoo Chile", the flip side is blank. Reads "alt. demo" hand written on the label... meaning alternative version. Condition of disc is VG, still shinny but has a few pops and some hiss and still sounds very good to the listener... The time on the acetate (5:43) and the original is 5:12. This version (1968) has Jimi on the electric guitar solo...no other instruments. A rare find. At the time that this record was made South Africa was under British rule and many American and British rock bands were distributed there....I have bought a complete collection of original UK, US and south African acetates that once belonged to a radio DJ in the UK and South Africa. Many Beatles, Pink Floyd, Stones, Bowie, Elvis, Doors, Yardbirds and more...These are NOT fakes or reproductions.
