Description

This is a very rare, long out of print, Australian import 12 LP box set. It was released in 1980 on Polydor Records and is technically entitled November 27, 1942 - September 18, 1970. The box lid has one split corner and has yellowed slightly but the albums have never been played and all of the inside contents are in exactly the same mint condition as the day I bought it when it was brand new in 1980. It was bought strictly to collect and has just been stored in my collection since. The only time the jackets or albums were touched at all was to put the albums in special Discwasher protective sleeves and the jacketss in plastic sleeves when the set was brand new. The box has:

12 LPS, 1 12" MAXI-SINGLE, and a 16 page booklet with great photos and track listings. The LPs are: ARE YOU EXPERIENCED, AXIS:BOLD AS LOVE, ELECTRIC LADYLAND (2 LP set with the original rare nudes gatefold), BAND OF GYPSYS, ISLE OF WIGHT, THE CRY OF LOVE, IN THE WEST, WAR HEROES, LOOSE ENDS, MIDNIGHT LIGHTNING and CRASH LANDING.
