On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Jimi Hendrix Experience called 'Are You Experienced' and is an ORIGINAL 1967 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Track label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS WAS JIMI HENDRIX'S FIRST LP EVER - AND IS ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPS OF ALL TIME!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - WITH A FULLY LAMINATED COVER & 'SAMPLE RECORD' STICKER!!!!  AND MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT THE SERIOUS RARITY OF THE LP I AM JUST ABOUT TO DESCRIBE - BECAUSE ONLY A TINY HANDFUL OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY (WAY BEFORE RELEASE!) - WERE EVER PRESSED LIKE THIS!!!!  AND THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL, THAT THIS IS THE RAREST 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP EVER MADE, AND IS ONE OF THE ULTIMATE JIM HENDRIX RARITIES!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN EXACTLY WHY THIS LP IS SO SERIOUSLY RARE!!!! 

THIS PARTICULAR LP WAS OWNED BY AN EX-RADIO STATION EMPLOYEE AND HE REMEMBERS VERY CLEARLY HOW HE ACCQUIRED IT!!!!  THIS LP WAS SENT OUT TO THE RADIO STATION WELL BEFORE THE RELEASE DATE - AND WAS FILED IN THE USUAL MANNER PRIOR TO SELECTING PLAYLISTS.  HOWEVER HE CLEARLY REMEMBERS THAT THIS PARTICULAR STATION WAS MORE INTO PLAYING 'CLASSICAL MUSIC', 'JAZZ' AND 'EASY LISTENING' - RATHER THAN HENDRIX'S SUBTLE BRAND OF PSYCHEDELIA!!!!  AND IT WAS HIS OPINION THAT THEY HAD RECIEVED THE RECORD 'IN ERROR' AS 'POP' OR 'ROCK' WERE RARELY RECIEVED IN THE POST.  AND AS WITH MANY OF THE LPS THE RADIO STATION GOT SENT - WHEN IT WAS DECIDED IT WAS OF NO USE, IT WAS DUE TO BE THROWN OUT.  LUCKILY THIS EMPLOYEE WAS ALLOWED TO KEEP IT FOR HIMSELF AND RESCUED IT BEFORE IT WAS 'BINNED' - AND TOOK IT HOME WHERE IT REMAINED IN HIS COLLECTION EVER SINCE!!!!  AND AS WITH ANY 'RADIO STATION' OR 'REVIEWERS' COPY OF THE TIME IT HAS THE CORRECT 'SAMPLE RECORD' STICKER WHICH YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE ON THE SIDE 1 LABEL!!!!  IT IS ALSO WORTH NOTING THAT THIS 'SAMPLE RECORD' STICKER IS EXACTLY CORRECT FOR THIS PERIOD OF 1967 - AND WAS USED ON ANY POLYDOR/TRACK PRESSED RECORDS SENT OUT FOR 'SAMPLE' PURPOSES. AND THIS MAKES THIS LP A VERY VERY SPECIAL LP INDEED!!!!  JUST THINK - THIS LP WAS SENT OUT WAY BEFORE THE RELEASE DATE - AND BEFORE THE EXPLOSION OF 'HENDRIX-MANIA' THAT QUICKLY FOLLOWED WHEN THIS LP TOOK THE WORLD BY STORM!!!!  WHEN THIS LP WAS SENT OUT ALL THOSE YEARS AGO - NO-ONE COULD HAVE ENVISAGED THE ASTOUNDING SUCCESS THAT QUICKLY FOLLOWED!!!!  AS MANY JIMI HENDRIX COLLECTORS NOW KNOW - JUST FINDING A STANDARD 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY HARD (AS MOST WHERE PLAYED INTO SUBMISSION IN 1967 ALONE!) - BUT FINDING ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE WITH A FULLY LAMINATED COVER & 'SAMPLE' STICKERED LABEL IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!!  AND THIS MUST SURELY MAKE THIS ONE OF THE RAREST & MOST SOUGHT JIMI HENDRIX LPS EVER TO BE OFFERED FOR SALE EVER!!!!  AND ALTHOUGH THE RECORD ISNT IN MINT CONDITION (THOUGH IT ISNT TERRIBLE BY ANY MEANS) - THE FULLY LAMINATED COVER IS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  OF COURSE, ANY FUTURE WINNING BIDDER COULD EASILY UPGRADE THE VINYL ON THIS LP TO MATCH THE BRILLIANT CONDITION OF THE FULLY LAMINATED COVER - BUT I THINK PERSONALLY THAT WOULD BE A TERRIBLE THING TO DO.  MOST IMPORTANTLY FOR ME, IS THE FACT THAT BOTH PARTS OF THIS LP ARE COMPLETELY ORIGINAL TO A TIME BEFORE JIMI HENDRIX'S LATER MASSIVE FAME EXPLODED ON THE MUSIC SCENE BACK IN 1967!!!!  AND MOST IMPORTANTLY OF ALL - THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESSING YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET - AND WAS SENT DIRECTLY FROM THE FACTORY TO THE RADIO STATION BACK IN 1967 (WELL BEFORE THE RELEASE DATE!) MAKING IT A TRUE 'PIECE OF THE HISTORY'!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION OVERALL - AND THE FULLY LAMINATED COVER IS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1967 UK 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS TRACK LABELS, MEGA THICK QUALITY VINYL, 1ST PRESS A1/B1 MATRIX ENDINGS, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'SAMPLE RECORD' STICKER ON THE SIDE 1 LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND IMPOSSIBLY RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'E.J.DAY' FULLY LAMINATED 'PATENTS PENDING' COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Track UK 'Earliest' 1st Pressing from 1967 and is in GREAT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is 612 001 on the 1st Press Track label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!!  THE MEGA RARE 'SAMPLE RECORD' STICKER IS IN STUNNING CONDITION - AND CLEARLY HASNT BEEN 'PICKED AT' OR TOUCHED SINCE NEW!!!!  The vinyl is in GREAT condition overall!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and generally this record looks SUPERB with a VERY high gloss shiny appearance!!!!  However under light you can see 3 or 4 small marks, 3 or 4 VERY light hairlines, 3 or 4 MEGA light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL JUST PRESSED LOOK!!!!  It is GREAT to find that the record in general plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  In fact, most of the records playing greatly EXCEEDS its visual grading with virtually EVERY track playing with barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle!!!!  The sound quality on ALL tracks is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  However on the track '3rd Stone From The Sun' there are a few louder pops right in the middle of this track.  Now I have played this through on 2 different systems - and each one played this middle passage of this track through fine - though admittedly there were 3 or 4 loud pops and then later in the track another 2 or 3 VERY faint ones.  However obviously I cannot vouch for every system in the world - though on the 2 systems I tried BOTH played through absolutely FINE. The record must grade Good++++ if not better - though the vast majority of this record actually EXCEEDS this grading visually AND playing wise!!!!  And of course most importantly it is the EARLIEST 1st Press 'Pre-Release' record from BEFORE the release date back in 1967 - and completely ORIGINAL to the cover!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!!  The IMPOSSIBLY RARE 'Earliest' 1st Press 'E.J.Day' FULLY Laminated 'Patents Pending' Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The cover has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear (SUPERB looking FULLY laminated spine!), only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the LAMINATED back of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!!  This ULTRA RARE FULLY Laminated cover looks BRILLIANT and absolutely MILES better than the usual unlaminated backed standard 1st Pressings you usually see!!!!  This IMPOSSIBLY rare FULLY LAMINATED 1st Press cover must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  THIS HAS TO BE REGARDED AS ONE OF THE RAREST & MOST IMPORTANT JIMI HENDRIX LPS EVER TO BE OFFERED FOR SALE - AND TO FIND A FULLY LAMINATED 'SAMPLE COPY' THAT WAS SENT OUT 'PRIOR TO RELEASE' IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
