JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE - ARE YOU EXPERIENCED- French Barclay 820 143 1967 Lp
As illustrated in Hans Pokoras, superb 4001 'Record collectors dreams' book, this is the rare French 1967 issue of The Experiences first album . This is the original Barclay pressing with the unique Hendrix 'Psychedelic sleeve, only available on the French release.
This album seldom appears for sale , especially with the sleeve in such nice condition.
SLEEVE : The laminated flip over style sleeve had a very clean front with no blemishes or creases, it is one of the best examples we have seen in a long time. The only blemish stopping this sleeve getting a M- grade is the fact that on the rear side there is a slight water stain running half way along the opening edge (about 125mm) this is only a faint band width about 20mm wide, it does not really spoil the sleeve. The sleeve is still very nice and we would grade as EX-
DISC : The disc is in decent condition, There are some very slight faint marks the type of wispers that come from the disc being taken in and out of the sleeve over the years, however this still looks almost spotless. The pressings are not the best exampes of this recording so although clean we will play grade as VG. But looks much better.

From this long standing experience in the record collecting business, we can assure any potential bidder that our gradings are to the UK 'Record Collector' grading standard. We therefore Call the grade 'EX' (Excellent) As that laid down in the 2008 Record Collector Price Guide. This grade is the equivalent to USA Goldmine VG+.
Any slight variations in the conditions of any grading, will be detailed in the description.
