For instant sale is an original UK first mono pressing from 1967 of the 'AXIS : BOLD AS LOVE' album by JIMI HENDRIX on the TRACK RECORDS label (612 003). The sleeve is in overall very good condition for its age with some edge and corner wear but there are quite a few creases in the lamination. In addition, there is a small bit of damage on the opening edge which you can see in photos 6 and 7. I have tried to show the condition of the sleeve in the photos so please study them carefully. The labels are in excellent condition but they do have quite a few 'spindle trails' reflecting the fact that the record has been played many times. The record surfaces have quite a few surface marks from being taken in and out of the inner sleeve but there are no really deep scratches. Both sides play well with that Hendrix power but, inevitably, there is some surface noise at times ('crackle' and 'pops') especially between tracks and in the quieter passages so it is not a perfect listen by any means. However, I have listened to the album on two different decks and systems and on both of them each side played through perfectly well. I have priced the item to reflect the condition of the sleeve and the quality of the playback. The record will be wrapped in bubblewrap before posting to ensure that it does not get damaged on its journey. I will dispatch the record in a proper record mailer and will post within one working day of purchase by second class 'tracked' post so that it gets on its way to you as soon as possible.
