Description
This is a factory sealed copy of the Jimi Hendrix Experience debut album Are You Experienced. I have dated it to the late 60s or very early 70s by comparing it with some other copies I have in the store. I do not believe it to be an original.
Total Weight is 248 grams which is within a couple of grams of a 2-tone label I have for sale, but is about 14 grams less than a 1967 tri-color I also have.
No printer's code on the back which matches my 1968. The price tag is computerized which could indicate slightly later, but the price is $3.6x which is very much a late 60s price.
Breathe holes are evident. There is a small tear in the shrink wrap along the bottom edge as seen in the photos.
Which presing it is cannot be guaranteed but these are the clues I have.
