On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Jimi Hendrix called "Axis Bold As Love" and is an ORIGINAL 1967 UK Pressing on the ORIGINAL Track label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS ONE OF JIMI HENDRIX'S RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!   IT IS ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs ON THE TRACK LABEL, AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL - IS THAT IT IS THE RAREST PRESSING OF THIS LP EVER MADE, AND WAS ACTUALLY WITHDRAWN ONLY DAYS AFTER RELEASE (IN FACT, THERE IS ACTUALLY SOME DEBATE AS TO WHETHER IT EVEN MADE THE RECORD SHOPS AT ALL!)!!!!  AND THIS IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  I WILL NOW EXPLAIN EXACTLY WHAT MAKES THIS LP, THE RAREST PRESSING OF THIS LP EVER MADE!!!!  AT FIRST GLANCE - YOU WOULD BE FORGIVEN IN THINKING THAT THIS IS A STANDARD UK 1ST PRESSING FROM 1967 - BUT IF YOU LOOK VERY CLOSELY YOU CAN SEE SOME VERY SUBTLE DIFFERENCES!!!!  FOR A START, THE COVER IN UNLAMINATED, THE MATRIXES (WHILST STILL A//1 B//1) ARE DIFFERENT, AND YET THIS LP IS PRESSED ON THE BLACK TRACK LABEL WITH 'MADE IN GT BRITAIN' AT THE BOTTOM (WHICH WOULD USUALLY INDICATE A 1ST PRESSING!), AND 1ST PRESS TRACK CAT NUMBERS!!!!  AND THIS INTRIGUED ME IMMENSELY - AS, I WAS PREVIOUSLY VERY CERTAIN THAT NO "AXIS BOLD AS LOVE" LPs HAD NEVER BEEN RE-ISSUED OR RE-PRESSED IN THE 1970s (EXCEPT FOR MUCH LATER POLYDOR RE-ISSUES)!!!!  HOWEVER - AFTER SPEAKING TO THE PREVIOUS OWNER, I FINALLY GOT THE FULL STORY OF HOW THIS LP CAME ABOUT!!!!  AND I WILL EXPLAIN EVERYTHING!!!!  BY THE EARLY 1970s ALL PREVIOUS STOCKS OF 'AXIS BOLD AS LOVE' HAD LONG SINCE SOLD OUT, AND POLYDOR WERE KEEPING JIMI HENDRIX'S NAME ALIVE WITH COUNTLESS LPs CONTAINING OLD MATERIAL, OR DIFFERENT VERSIONS.  AND BY 1973, EVERY JIMI HENDRIX LP HAD SWITCHED TO THE POLYDOR LABEL - WHICH INCLUDED 'ELECTRIC LADYLAND' (WHICH CHANGED FROM TRACK TO POLYDOR IN 1972)!!!!  HOWEVER, DUE TO CONTRACTUAL DIFFICULTIES, POLYDOR HAD BEEN UNABLE TO 'RE-PRESS' JIMI HENDRIX'S FIRST 2 LPs - AS WELL AS LOSING THE ORIGINAL MASTERS!!!!  EVENTUALLY IN 1973, THEY GOT ROUND THESE PROBLEMS - AND FIRSTLY RE-RELEASED JIM HENDRIX'S 1ST LP ('ARE YOU EXPERIENCED'), AND THEN A FEW WEEKS LATER THIS LP 'AXIS BOLD AS LOVE' WAS ALSO SCHEDULED FOR RELEASE!!!!  HOWEVER, DUE TO MORE CONTRACTUAL PROBLEMS BOTH LPs WERE PULLED FROM SALE - ONLY DAYS AFTER RELEASE!!!!  AND BECAUSE JIMI HENDIRIX'S FIRST LP 'ARE YOU EXPERIENCED' HAD BEEN ON SALE FOR AT LEAST A WEEK OR TWO - IT DOES TURN UP FOR SALE OCCASSIONALLY IN THIS FORMAT (THOUGH STILL EXTREMELY RARE!).  HOWEVER - BECAUSE THIS LP ('AXIS BOLD AS LOVE') WAS WITHDRAWN ONLY DAYS AFTER RELEASE (THERE IS SOME DEBATE AS TO WHETHER THIS PRESSING ACTUALLY EVER MADE IT TO THE SHOPS IN THE FIRST PLACE) BARELY ANY COPIES EXIST OF THIS IMPOSSIBLY RARE PRESSING TODAY!!!!  THIS UK TRACK PRESSING FROM 1973 IS SO INCREDIBLY RARE - THAT IT ISNT LISTED IN ANY GUIDE BOOKS, OR LISTINGS ANYWHERE!!!!  BARELY ANY COPIES WERE EVER PRESSED - AND MANY OF THOSE THAT WERE, WERE DESTROYED ON RETURN TO THE FACTORY!!!!  INDEED, THIS ONE ONLY SURVIVED BECAUSE IT IS AN ULTRA RARE 'PROMOTIONAL' COPY' (STAMPED IN GOLD PRINT ON THE REVERSE) SENT TO A MUSIC REVIEWER PRIOR TO THE RELEASE DATE!!!!  SO MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT - THIS IS THE RAREST PRESSING OF THIS LP EVER MADE - AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB CONDITION AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1973 UK 'WITHDRAWN' PROMOTIONAL PRESSING ON BLACK TRACK LABELS, A//1 B//1 MATRIX ENDINGS, ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE, AND GATEFOLD COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Track UK Pressing from 1973 and is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is 613 003 on the ORIGINAL Black Track label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo Pressing!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in SUPERB condition!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 1 absolutely ULTRA light scuffline trace, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS SUPERB!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade FULL Excellent if not Excellent+!!!!  SUPERB RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL Gatefold Cover is in SUPERB condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO ringwear, NO rubbing, and NO writing (apart from an absolutely TINY 'jm' on the reverse (IMPOSSIBLE to see!)!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the inside of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO ringwear, NO rubbing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade FULL Excellent if not better!!!!  SUPERB COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
