Description
I have for sale an original copy of the much sought after Jimi Hendrix Experience 2nd Album "Axis: Bold As Love" which was released in 1967. This is the first pressing of this LP and is in Mono format. The famous matt black Matrix record label has the Number 602 003 printed on it. The record also has 612 003-A-1 and 612 003-B-1 engraved on both sides.
The well known cover which was designed by David King and Roger Law is in good condition along with the inner sleeve. The spine however has a small amount of wear in the centre but the edges and corners are very good with no splits or rips. The laminate has no severe cracks or marks and the matt gatefold photo is first class.
The record itself has a few minor surface scratches, however it plays fine with no jumping or sticking. Overall I would have to say that the record is in very good condition for 38 years of age. I have checked the record Collector's guide book and this Album compares with one in very good condition.
