Band of Gypsys

Recorded live Filmore East New York, 1970.
This is the UK original in a withdrawn sleeve of puppets.

Puppets are Jimi, Brian Jones, John Peel and Bob Dylan. This now iconic mega rare "puppet sleeve" really sold next to no copies at all before being withdrawn to be replaced with the much, much more common live shot of Jimi, resulting in the creation of the most rare official Hendrix LP release.

Labels: Track, clear & clean with some spidery spindle traces around the hole.

Sleeve: Single wallet. rigid spine with crimped ends, no rubwear, very slightly softened corners. See picture #2 for rear sleeve - very small cut to the card surface alongside the tracklist word 'Changes'. Very minor & does not penetrate the card. A few faint & general handling marks and a small thumb crease to the left of 'Dylan's' face. No other damage at all. EX+

Vinyl Condition & Grading: Obviously very well cared-for, the vinyl is deep black, unmarked and clean. Play quality is superb, very little surface noise from the start and almost total silence between tracks. EX+
