Here's another true classic when it comes to record collecting - one for the conneseur, don't even know how to spell it!

Here it is - the Jimi Hendrix classic, Band of Gypsys. Released in the UK by Track Records in 1970, this is a genuine first pressing of this lp. The later pressings (in the same year) were released with the isle of white sleeve, whereas this pressing is the original and comes in the original all important PUPPET sleeve.

The record and sleeve are in very good condition.

The sleeve edges are a little scuffed although the opening edge is still strong and clean. There is the name J Thomas written in biro on the top left corner of the back. Apart from that the stunning artwork is still as crisp and clean as it ever was.

As for the record itself; the labels are bright and clean with no fading and only light spindle wear. The vinyl has a beautiful shine to it and hardly any scuff marks, no major defects. It plays well despite it's age.
