THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND HARD TO FIND! THIS IS ONE OF JIMI HENDRIX RARE LPs PARTICULARLY WUTH THE DOUBLE MISSPRINT LABEL AND RARELY COMES UP FOR SALE.

BARCLAY RECORDS HAD THE RIGHTS FOR JIMI HENDRIX IN FRANCE BUT NOT FOR THE COVERS AND DECIDED TO RELEASE ALL THE OFFICIAL RECORDS OF JIMI HENDRIX IN FRANCE WITH THEIR OWN DESIGN COVERS AND THIS WERE NEVER RELEASED ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE REST OF THE WORLD. 
 

THE FRENCH 1ST PRESS WAS RELEASED BY BARCLAY PANACHE RECORDS WITH A DIFFERENT COVER TO THE REST OF THE WORLD SHOWING A PSYCH PHOTO VERSION OF JIMI HENDRIX.

ON OFFER ANOTHER RARITY BY JIMI HENDRIX THE LP TITLED "BAND OF GYPSYS" AND THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1970 FRENCH 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS BARCLAY LABEL AND ULTRA RARE PHOTO COVER.  ADDITIONALLY THE LABEL IN THE LP HAS BEEN MISSPPRINT AND DUPLICATED SHOWING THE SAME TITLES IN BOTH SIDES BUT THE VINYL IS CORRECT. ADDITIONALLY THE TRACKS "POWER TO LOVE" AND "MESSAGE OF LOVE" IN THIS VERSION WERE MISSPRINT AS "POWER OF SOUL" AND "MESSAGE TO LOVE" BOTH IN BACK COVER AND LABELS. THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND
 

The 1st press vinyl is graded visually in very good to excellent minus condition. Please see below a description of grades and note that this vinyl is almost 50 years old that has been played and will not transform into anything different to the condition stated.
 

The orange Barclay record labels are in excellent minus condition. As previously mentioned the labels are duplicated showing the same tracks for both sides (the vinyl is correct with different tracks on each side). The duplicate label shows written in pencil by a previous owner the correct tracks. 

The ULTRA RARE 'Earliest' 1st Press laminated Cover is in very good plus condition with some creases, ring and corner wear. The back sleeve and labels show the miscredit titles "Power of Soul" and "Message to Love".

The spine has split in the centre.

Visually-graded vinyl: A visual grading will identify physical flaws (such as scratches) and can help determine whether a record has been cared-for properly. A visual grading will not identify noise or crackle caused by non-visible sources. Most of the records I sell are between thirty and sixty years old and so it is likely that there may be some background noise even if they look perfect.

Mint                      
Cover - Looks new - no marks, wear or damage
Disc - Looks unplayed - no marks visible
 
Near Mint              
Cover - Looks virtually new with signs of handling- Minor wear creases but no marks or damage. Light sleeves may show slight discoloration due to age.
Disc - May have minor scuffs &/or hairline scratches caused by moving record in & out of paper sleeve
 
Excellent                
Cover - Slight signs of wear on edges/spine, corners or ring wear. No damage caused by sticker removal/residue.
Disc- The record has been played and has superficial marks &/or hairline scratches and paper scuffs.
 
Very good              
Cover - Moderate edge/spine or ring wear. Corners may be a little blunt. Opening edge may show feathering caused by removal of record. Visible creases or laminate lift. Localised sticker removal damage.
Disc - The record has been played frequently and has noticeable surface marks, occasional light scratches and paper scuffs.
 
Good                      
Cover - Heavy ring or edge/spine wear. Corners noticeable bashed. Heavy creases. Considerable laminate/surface damage.
Disc - The record looks very well played and the sound quality has probably deteriorated noticeably. A lot of surface marks/scratches. Usually used as collection filler
