Description
I Have @ 700 LPs I will be putting up for sale in the next 2 months. I'll list as many as I can daily, so check back often, or bookmark me.
JIMI HENDRIX - Band Of Gypsys, Capitol STAO 472.
Original 1970 stereo pressing with "Sterling RL" etched in the trail off.
CONDITION:
VINYL is EX. This is a nice and shiny, heavy record, that plays excellent. The record looks rarely played and there are no spindle marks on the labels. There's light blemishes on the vinyl.
I played this all the way through. Both sides play nearly perfect. I heard soft surface noise at the lead in, and for a few seconds at a time on some tracks. There's a little noise between some tracks, and absolute silence between the others.
COVER is average. There's surface and edge wear, and a promo hole in the top right corner. No splits, stains, or writing. This is still a nice cover for a record that's been around for 50 years.

PACKAGING:
I ship in sturdy cardboard LP mailers with the record separated from the cover (unless it's sealed). I also fill the mailer with extra cardboard to prevent the record from sliding around in the package.
NEAR MINT (NM) - Nearly perfect vinyl. No obvious signs of wear. Clean looking labels. Looks like it was hardly ever played. This record looks like it will play without any surface noise.
EXCELLENT (EX) - An excellent quality record with no more than a few very faint scuffs. This record may look like it has been played, but handled with extreme care.
VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) - Record surface may show some slight signs of wear and may have light scuffs but nothing you can feel with your fingertip. Faint surface noise may be present between tracks and at the lead in.
VERY GOOD (VG) - Many of the defects found on a VG+ record are more pronounced on a VG disc. Surface noise may be heard but will not overpower the music. There may be light scratches that can affect the sound with occasional pop and crackle.
