Description
JIMI HENDRIX Band Of Gypsys (Polydor) Australia 1970.
Here's the RARE Australian 1st Press of Band Of Gypsys, with the full laminated "Puppet Cover", the Vinyl is also a little heavier than the latter presses.
This sleeve is interesting (see pic 3), they didn't quite remove "Made by MacNeil etc.." on the rear, so it's still faintly legible in blueish ink. I don't have another 1st press to compare, and can't recall ever seeing this before, so it maybe be a very rare slight variation/printing error.
The Cover is EX very minor wear, the Vinyl is EX, lovely clean vinyl, faint hairlines under heavy light, very small visible mark right at the end of the final track, which has no effect on play.
Difficult to find, don't miss!!
