UK Track Record ‘Fanclub Only’ withdrawn LP
This is possibly the rarest British official Jimi Hendrix LP to ever exist!
It was a Polydor 'privileged member's club' release on the Track Record Company, sold by Mail order only. This album was available for a very limited time, to a limited audience, quickly withdrawn. It is 52 years old!
In '68 this album of sides 2 and 4 from the upcoming 'Electric Ladyland' album were released to a select number of buyers as part of 'The Audio Club Of Great Britain'. Hendrix and the band apparently weren't pleased, and had it recalled - with around 200 to 300 copies sold into circulation...

Record grading: SIDE 1: VG+ / SIDE 2: VG++
The vinyl is graded with the standard UK Record Collector Magazine grading system… VG : ‘‘The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch’’.Sleeve grading: G (pictures show it better than my words). No WOC
Front sleeve: it seems that the small white rips on top right are due to a removed sticker.

Inner sleeve is the original UK British Patent inner sleeve stating “Plastic bags can be dangerous ...”, numbered “1(reversed)0 /0271”. There is a little penmark on the back (see picture)
Comments: I owned this album for more than 40 years. It was already hard to find and very expensive at this time, but I was so pleased to ever find it at last, even with its marked cover condition which nevertheless remains acceptable for a Hendrix fan like me! Sadly, circumstances have necessitated this sale. I can only hope another Hendrix fan will soon enjoy the ‘Experience’ of owning this rare album! The starting bid is lower than what I have paid at the time!
