THANK YOU ORIGINAL 1ST UK STEREO PRESSING TRACK CAT NO. 613 008/9 1968 GATEFOLD DOUBLE ALBUM The 1968 1st pressing was unique for the cover and the LP's labels. The 1st issue gatefold cover exclusively had the title's graphics in a vivid blue colour, all following Track covers after 1968 had the graphics in a white colour. The 1968 cover also had the two pictures of Mitch and Noel as large sized photo's, all later covers had the photo's reduced to smaller size. RARE UK 1st PRESSING, 16th NOVEMBER 1968 MATT BLACK TRACK LABEL: 613 008/9 HAND ALTERED MATRIX NUMBERS TO ALL SIDES SIDE A. 613008 A//1 SIDE D. 613008 B//1 SIDE B. 613009 A//1 SIDE C. 613009 B//1 I have had this album since new and played it a lot! Therefore neither records nor packaging are in mint condition - they are, however, all original. Using the Record Collector's assessment system I would rate this offering at very good/good. Packaging: The gatefold outer sleeve is in overall good condition. However there are some marks to the lamination and scuffing to corners and edges (see photos) The inner sleeves are poly lined paper. They are discoloured in places and the poly liner on one is detached at the top (the record is still safely housed within). LPs Well played and some marks to the vinyl. Labels are in very good condition with little or no spindle marking. Both records play well enough. surface noise is present before and between tracks, but not noticeable during tracks except in very quiet passages (not many of these!)
