This is a rare TRANSITIONAL copy of the double LP Electric Ladyland set by The Jimi Hendrix Experience AND IT MUST BE ONE OF THE 1st POLYDOR LABEL PRESSINGS AS IT HAS THE ORIGINAL 613008/09 MATRIX FROM THE 1ST PRESSINGS RELEASED IN 1968 ON TRACK RECORDS. It has the Polydor stereo label, number 2657 012 on the sleeve (much rarer than the Polydor mid price SPDLP 3 pressing) and has early first pressing 1 stampers.

The vinyl in both records in this set has been visually graded and not play graded, sides B and D in excellent plus condiction, side A in excellent minus condition and side C in very good condition only.  Before bidding please understand the condition of this grading and read the description of grades below provided.

The red Polydor labels are in excellent condition. 

The gatefold cover with the nude girls is in very good to excellent condition with creases, edge, ring and corner wear. 

The spine is complete in excellent minus condition with edge and corner wear.

Disc - Looks unplayed - no marks visible

Near Mint            

Cover - Looks virtually new with signs of handling- Minor wear creases but no marks or damage. Light sleeves may show slight discoloration due to age.

Disc - May have minor scuffs &/or hairline scratches caused by moving record in & out of paper sleeve

Excellent              

Cover - Slight signs of wear on edges/spine, corners or ring wear. No damage caused by sticker removal/residue.

Disc- The record has been played and will have some superficial marks &/or hairline scratches and paper scuffs.

Very good             

Cover - Moderate edge/spine or ring wear. Corners may be a little blunt. Opening edge may show feathering caused by removal of record. Visible creases or laminate lift. Localised sticker removal damage.

Disc - The record has been played frequently and has noticeable surface marks, occasional light scratches and paper scuffs.

Good      

Cover - Heavy ring or edge/spine wear. Corners noticeable bashed. Heavy creases. Considerable laminate/surface damage.

Disc - The record looks very well played and the sound quality has probably deteriorated noticeably. A lot of surface marks/scratches. Usually used as collection filler
