This is the 1968 UK pressing of Electric Ladyland with the fully laminated 'nude' Ernest J Day gatefold cover and the white inside text. It has the original 613008/9 catalogue number at the base of the inside and not the 2657 012 number that later pressing had.
The labels all have the tell-tale 1st pressing inverted catalogue numbers.
Cover: Laminated (inside and out) E J Day gatefold cover. This has the white text on the inner gatefold. In Excellent (outside) to Excellent+ (inside) condition. No writings, doodles or seam splits. The spine is beautiful - it is usually the spine that goes on these but this one is fab. Even the internal spine is Excellent with no wear. The only flaws are a little laminate creasing (small crease inside and a longer crease outside) and some wear to the corners. One of the best I have seen for a while.
Labels: Excellent. No writings/doodles/stickers. A&D on 1st LP and B&C on the second.
Vinyl: Play tested. Side A looks Good, Side D looks Good, Side B looks VG and Side C looks Good. All sides play better than they look. All sides also have quite a nice sheen. There is crackle but not enough to spoil the listening experience. These thick vinyl first pressings really do stand the test of time. Play back is as follows...........

Gradings.......
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and more significant scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
