Description

Jimi Hendrix Experience "Axis Bold As Love" LP original 1968 US Reprise Records stereo RS6281 in the gatefold jacket.

I purchased this record in 1968 and it is from my personal collection.  It is not a reissue.

The jacket is in "NM" condition with no seam splits, cutout holes, shelf wear or ringwear (see photos). 

The vinyl is in "NM" condition with only superficial paper scuffs that do not effect play; matrix numbers end with 1E/1F; the label is the original tri-color design of the Reprise label which indicates that this is one of the earliest pressings of the album; it is in the original Reprise paper sleeve as issued (see photos).

Vinyl grading is based on the following criteria:

“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.

“M” Mint - a near perfect or unplayed  record.

“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.

“EX+” close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.

“EX” a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.

“VG+” There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
