Description:
An original UK first pressing of Axis: Bold As Love, released on black Track Record label on 1st December 1967. Widely regarded as one of Hendrix's finest albums, this is the sought-after original UK issue with the iconic fully laminated gatefold sleeve.
This example features the original black Track Record labels and first pressing matrices. The sleeve retains an excellent laminate shine with vibrant colours, while the vinyl presents beautifully with an outstanding glossy finish. A very collectible copy of one of the greatest psychedelic rock albums ever released.

The vinyl retains a superb deep glossy finish on both sides, only very light signs of play visible when viewed under direct strong halogen spotlight. The labels are nice and clean. EXCELLENT PLUS!

Plays with the powerful, dynamic sound these original Track pressings are renowned for, with no skips or sticks or other defects to report. EXCELLENT PLUS!
The Sleeve:
The fully laminated gatefold remains a lovely example with rich, vibrant colours and an excellent laminate sheen. There is light corner and edge wear and no major creasing or structural issues. The spine remains solid and the inside of the gatefold is particularly clean. EXCELLENT.
The Inner:
Polylined inner in nice clean condition. EXCELLENT.
