JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE Axis Bold As Love 1967 Mono UK 1st Press Gatefold Sleeve
Super rare LP from 1967 by the greatest guitarist of all time!
This is the first press mono UK LP. The matrix numbers are 612003 A 1 (A side) and 612003 B 1 (B side)
The sleeve is gatefold flipback and laminated on the front and back. The inside picture of the band is unlaminated. It is printed by Ernest J Day & Co.
Release on Track Record label - cat no 612 003
Vinyl: side 1: VG++, side 2: VG++ The sound of this mono copy is sensational, far superior to the stereo pressing.
Sleeve: VG++/EXC. some creases, a bit worn around the edges, really in fantastic shiny condition, one small piece of tape has been used on one of the edges but is barely visible.
All things considered, this is a record that is 45 years old, and it is nice to find it in a condition as good as this. Most have either been lost to the mists of time, or played to destruction.
