THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE Electric Ladyland (Track 613 008/9) UK 1st Pressing
I have graded this record using the Record Collector magazine guide.
This record is in GOOD condition at the very least and would never fall below that category. There is scuffing on all sides of the vinyl and a few marks but nothing to cause skipping or jumping. The visible marks on Side B (see pic) play through without problem. There is 10mm circular discrepancy on Side A but plays through with an audible crackle (see pic). Mostly the vinyl plays VERY GOOD. Surface noise is only audible in quiet passages. I have listened carefully to all four sides and there are no skips or jumps at all. All the records lie flat and labels are fairly clean with spindle marks and a barely visible "Douch" written (in pencil?) within the "T" of Track on Side A and C. Matrix stampings are as follows (as well as I can read without magnifying glass!): Side A: 61300##8 A//1 12 10
Side D: 61300#8 B//1 12 13 Side B: 61300#9 A#//1 12 2 Side C: 613009 B (etched by hand) #######//1 1 5
Discs in poly-lined sleeves
The sleeve is also in GOOD condition. The gatefold is in one piece even though there is considerable wear to spine. Laminate is creased mainly around the "ring wear" areas. Sleeve lies flat and edges are still pretty sharp.
