Description

This was Jimi's third appearance at the Olympia Paris, reputedly Europe's largest theatre; he had played to rapturous applause twice previously, the first being The Experience's fifth official gig and a memorable occasion.
This was the second show of the day and Jimi was determined to make up for technical problems encountered during the first show.
What's captured here is Jimi, Noel and Mitch in fine form with Jimi in great humour. A cracking good show, the highlights being 'Catfish Blues', 'Red House', 'Driving South' and 'Purple Haze'. A highly reccomended addition that fits neatly between 'Live at Monterey 1967', 'LA Forum 24/4/69' and 'Berkeley 30/5/70 2nd set'
