JIMI HENDRIX LIMITED EDITION BOXSET - POLYDOR 1980

Purchased new by myself in 1980 from a mail order advert in Melody Maker. At this time, a close family member was a session musician and was touring Europe & the Scandinavian continent almost continuously. I gave him the lid of the boxset and he had both Mitch Mitchell & Noel Redding sign it for me during a recording session in the Netherlands (Hilversum I believe) in early 1981. Unfortunately, thereafter, the lid took a bit of a battering as it was stored in his musician's flight cases until such time that he returned it to me later that same year.

The records are all in wonderful condition as I only played them a handful of times, copying them onto cassette tapes and using the tapes instead of the vinyl. All the sleeves and inlays are perfect and unmarked. The contents are as follows:

My wife would never let me play the Hendrix recordings as she likened them to the sound of a cat being strangled. Women huh? Can't live with them. Can't shoot them. This rare signed boxset is a must have for any serious Hendrix fan or collector.
