TWO TREMENDOUS UK POLYDOR POSTHUMOUS JIMI HENDRIX RELEASES
BOTH RECORDS ARE IN UNPLAYED MINT CONDITION

INTERESTING UK ISSUES THESE, AS AT FIRST GLANCE THEY APPEAR TO BE 2 PARTS OF THE 13 LP BOX SET
BUT THEY ARE ACTUALLY SEPARATE, STAND-ALONE ALBUMS RELEASED BY POLYDOR IN 1980/81

In September 1980 a 13 LP box set set was released by Polydor to mark the 10th anniversary of his Hendrix's death
All the LPs in this set are Gold stamped on the back of the sleeve with “LIMITED EDITION BOX SET”
Both of these sleeves are marked “LIMITED EDITION BOX SET” in Gold but they also have an additional sticker "ALSO AVAILABLE" next to the Limited Edition sticker (please see photos)
Both sleeves are shrink-wrapped (unlike the records in the set) and I can only assume these were released separately by UK Polydor in 1980/81 possibly because they had some spares left over from the box

BOTH ALBUMS ARE IN UNPLAYED MINT CONDITION AND LOOK AND PLAY AS-NEW WITH BRIGHT CLEAN LABELS WITH NO SPINDLE TRACES
BOTH SLEEVES (WITH SHRINK-WRAP) ARE NEAR MINT WITH JUST SOME LIGHT SCUFFING TO THE EXPOSED PARTS OF THE SLEEVE

PERSONALLY I HAVE NEVER SEEN THESE RELEASES BEFORE. I HAVE SEEN THE RECORDS FROM THE BOX SOLD SEPARATELY BUT NEVER AS INDEPENDENT, STAND-ALONE SHRINK-WRAPPED ISSUES WITH THE "ALSO AVAILABLE' STICKER
