JIMI HENDRIX "Midnight Lightning"/RUFUS Featuring Chaka Kahn
VERY RARE AFRTS Pressing! This LP was made for use only on Armed Forces radio and were pressed in very limited quantity. They were not available to the general public.
"AFRTS" SOMETIMES CALLED "ARMED FORCES RADIO AND TELEVISION SERVICE" AND, OTHER TIMES CALLED AMERICAN FORCES RADIO AND TELEVISION SERVICE, AS PRINTED ON THEIR LABELS ARE EXTREMELY RARE RECORDS MANUFACTURED BY THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, AND WERE DISTRIBUTED TO AMERICAN FORCES RADIO STATIONS IN THE 60'S AND EARLY 70'S. AS SUCH YOU CAN ASSUME THAT VERY FEW OF THESE RECORDS, PROBABLY AROUND A FEW HUNDRED OF EACH TITLE WERE PRESSED. SO VERY FEW OF THESE RECORDS SURVIVED AS MOST WERE JUST EVENTUALLY THROWN AWAY. THIS RECORD IS AN AMAZING FIND AND AN INCREDIBLE ADDITION TO ANYBODY'S HENDRIX RECORD COLLECTION.
