Here is another gem from my own mostly Nr Mint personal collection (which I am selling off gradually to lessen the pain...) You are bidding on an absolutely stunning ORIGINAL 1968 UK Track 1st Pressing of the classic 'Smash Hits' by Jimi Hendrix!!! What makes this record so special is its outstanding vinyl condition - The vinyl is simply pristine: a straight Nr Mint!!! It looks brand new - impossible for this record!!! It is the Original 1968 UK Track Record 1st PRESSING (not to be confused with the later and much more common Polydor re-issue) on 1st press Track Record labels with the very cool Dezo Hoffman Laminated Sleeve, manufactured by MacNeill Press here in London. Of course it comes complete with its original 'Made in England'  and 'UK Patent No.' poly-lined windowed inner sleeve which is also in superb condition!!! This is the best example of this rare album you will probably ever see - so don't miss this opportunity!!! The cool super thick and chunky vinyl is in visually and aurally stunning condition and shines with a 'just pressed' look and feel, it really looks as if this record came off the press yesterday!!! This vinyl is in stunning immaculate condition!!! The Classic Black/Silver 1st Pressing Track Record centre labels are in stunning Near Mint condition with NO Tears, NO Peeling, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind!!! There are just some one or two of the lightest spindle lines. The gramophone rims containing the all important 1st press matrix's are also mint!!!

What can I say about the vinyl itself? It is in immaculate Near Mint condition.  It has all the deep glass-like shine of a newly pressed record. There are NO Scratches, No Scuffing, NO Groove Wear and NO Warping or Blemishes of any kind at all  - Nothing, it grades as Straight Nr Mint with just possibly one or two paper-lines!!! Impossible for this rare record!!! This disc looks like it came off the master press yesterday!!! It has all the deep shine a newly pressed record!!!  The record still retains ALL its original gloss and shine and has NO dulling and NO nasty greying of the grooves!!! I am very pleased to state that this is a record that also plays as good as it looks!!! It has NO jumps, NO skips NO nasty loud pops!!! The thick quality pressed chunky 1970's vinyl looks and feels great (it is very heavy!).

The 1st press MacNeill 'Track Logo' sleeve (all later pressings have the red Polydor logo in the bottom right corner), is in superb condition. On the rare occasions that these sleeves turn up nowadays, they are totally worn out-looking with severe corner & edge wear, stains and terrible ring wear (especially to the unlaminated back). Suffice to say these rare sleeves have not remained in prime condition over the years. This one however is in SUPERB shape!!! The laminate is super clear and glossy, allowing all the bold and vibrant colours from Dezo Hoffman's classic image to really come through.  The unlaminmated reverse side has NONE of the common yellowing to the white border. This very rare sleeve easily grades as Excellent+!!! in every way at the very least and is in no way over-graded!!!  All seams and spine are Mint with NO wear whatsoever! The corners are also razor sharp!!! The LP comes with its Original 'Made in England' poly-lined windowed inner sleeve - which is also in stunning **Near Mint** condition! Nice and flat with NO creases and NO separation of the inner poly lining!! Please check out our feedback and bid with confidence as this is a no reserve auction with a very low starting price!  Do not underestimate the rarity of this record in this condition!!! UK 1st press Track copies in such stunning condition are as such is in very high demand today. If you have never heard it, you will not find another copy that plays more pristinely than this- it will blow you away!!! If you are a collector/investor, the price of this record will just rise and rise. An absolutely essential (and very rare) record to own in this complete and beautiful condition!!! It has recently been pointed out to me that some eBay sellers have been using my images without permission. If you are thinking of lifting a picture or two from my pages - don't. You will be reported and your auction will be removed by eBay. It's not that I mind, in fact its kinda flattering, my real problem is that whoever does this is not showing a true image of the actual record they are selling. The condition of old 1960's & 70's records varies greatly, no two are in exactly the same condition when they are this age. All my pictures are very specific to the actual records I sell and it is wholly misleading to to show these images with reference to a different record. Thanks.

Postage ... Hazey Jane has absolutely NO hidden surcharges; the price you win is the price you pay, just add the relevant postage, it's as simple as that! We always combine postage so if you win more than 1 auction you save money on postage costs! We will only ship to non-UK countries via Airmail - we do not use surface mail, it is way too slow and thus increases the risk of records being damaged during transit.

A little note about insurance - Please read carefully... If the value of your record(s) is over £30, your invoice will include an insured option. Being the responsible adults you are, it is entirely up to you to take this up  - we strongly advise you to do this but will not hassle you about it. You either add the required insurance or you don't. If you do add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will get a refund. However, there will always be somebody out there whose expectations far exceed UK record collector grading standards.  If you are in anyway unsatisfied with your record or our grading of it please refer to the UK Record Collector Grading Chart very carefully BEFORE emailing us. We strictly adhere to it and will only offer refunds (minus the postage AND our eBay costs) if we are satisfied that we have fallen below UK record collector grading standards. This will very rarely, if ever, happen. We will not be impressed with buyers disputing our gradings without even bothering to check the UK record collector grading standards chart first - you have been warned ...

Buyers who continually Haggle, Whine and Moan to try to decrease the price they won their auctions for will be blocked from bidding on future auctions and can toodle off down to HMV or Virgin where they can harass the counter staff there.

We will always leave feedback upon receipt of feedback. In an ideal world we would like to leave feedback as soon as the record has been shipped but due to feedback blackmail in the past (i,e, ",,,I want a partial refund or I will leave negative feedback") we have opted to take this measure.
