PRESSED WITH THE FIRST ISSUE DEEP TAN REPRISE LABELS (no WB logo on the rim - which was added in 1975)

THE RECORD IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL MATT GATEFOLD SLEEVE WITH FACTORY-SEALED LEFT SIDE EDGE, PRINTED BY "Shorewood Packaging Co.Ltd., England."
COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL PLAIN WHITE DIE-CUT INNER SLEEVE WITH "MADE IN ENGLAND" AND UK PATENT NUMBER PRINTED IN BLUE
The pairing of 'Rainbow Bridge' with 'The Cry of Love' comprises the bulk of the most realised tracks that Hendrix was intending to release on his next (double) LP, 'First Rays of the New Rising Sun'.
All songs on the album were written by Hendrix, except the cover of 'The Star-Spangled Banner', and recorded throughout 1969 and '70, with the exception of 'Look Over Yonder', which was recorded in 1968.

Clean, bright, unmarked labels with barely a spindle trace to be seen - seen little (if any) play
VINYL Visual: MINT-
Both surfaces retain their original deep glossy sheen and shine like-new - there are some superficial pressing blemishes on Side One - only visible when the vinyl is angled to the light but these have no audio significance at all
VINYL Audio: MINT-
Superb sound - crystal clear, clean, sharp and bright and my play-check at loud volume found no audio issues of note - great copy
SLEEVE: NEAR MINT
The matt gatefold cover is also in great shape - a very clean example - all edges are crisp, sharp and square, all spine text is clear and bold and the surfaces display none of the common ring-wear
