Description
A great copy of 'Smash Hits' by The Jimi Hendrix Experience on the UK Track label from 1968. The catalogue number is 612004 and this is an original issue. The sleeve is laminated on the front. There is some creasing and the edges are in fine condition. The wording on the spine is perfectly legible. The rear of the sleeve shows some discolouration and wear. the sleeve has been graded as VG++. The labels of the record are the rough, textured type. There is definite spindle marking on both labels. This record has been well played. However, it plays superbly on both sides with minor surface noise and no major pops or clicks. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are - side one - 612004 A V 2 12 4 - side two - 612004 B V 2 11 22. I think tehse are accurate but, as with a lot of matrix numbers they are not always clear. This LP is getting quite rare now and is a must for serious psych and Hendrix collectors.
