On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by called "Smash Hits" by Jimi Hendrix and is an INCREDIBLY rare 1968 UK MONO 1st pressing!!!! THIS LP IS VERY VERY HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION!!!! THIS LP HAS CLEARLY BEEN WELL LOOKED AFTER AND THE RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! DONT MISS OUT!!!! This is a 1968 Track 1st Pressing, and is very VERY hard to find indeed!!!! The Cat. No is 612 004 on the Track label (see picture) and is a MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Jimi Hendrix at his best!!!! Any fan of Jimi Hendrix, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS NOT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition. Most of these LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a few light paper scuffs!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL HAS A 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, and NO crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade FULL Excellent!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL inner!!!! The MONO 1st Press Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO grubbyness, only VERY slight yellowing, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better - with only the few creases stopping a higher grading!!!!
HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this RARE LP by Jimi Hendrix in this sort of condition!!!!
