JIMI HENDRIX THE CRY OF LOVE

This UK 1st press is on the plain black Track label. It is complete with the earliest matt EJ Day gatefold sleeve. Released in 1972, most of the tracks were recorded between December 1969 and summer 1970. It was the fourth studio album and the first album released after Hendrix death.
The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. There is a sensational jet black gloss, with just a couple of very light marks and a few hairlines on each side. The labels are exceptionally solid and clean. The text is sharp and there is only the very slightest spindle wear.
The sound quality is Very Good. The vinyl lies flat on the turntable and the sound is rich and vibrant. There is still superb clarity and separation but there are moments of light background crackle. The noise does not spoil the enjoyment of the record at any point.
The earliest EJ Day gatefold sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The image is sharp and the colours are warm and bright. There is some very light edge and corner wear. The inside is exceptionally bright and clean. The rear of the sleeve has sharp text and the orange sunset image is vivid and clear.
