Please study the description carefully, this is a superb copy of this LP and the winning bidder will not be disappointed. This is one of several rare LPs I am in the process of selling over the next few weeks.

As can be seen from the photographs this is an extremely well preserved copy of this rare UK TRACK label LP with the withdrawn 'puppet' sleeve. Its a first press copy therefore with matrix numbers 2406002 A 1 and 2406002 B 1 and stampers 1 1 5 and 1 1 5. The vinyl is EX and the cover is EX+.

VINYL: The LP is an excellent example of this rare UK original. The vinyl retains its deep glossy shine and although there some very light hairlines and non-sounding light needle marks these do not produce any unwanted sounds - no pops, no background noise and no jumps, no repeats, nothing to detract from the sound quality of this LP. The only blemish I could detect were three small pops before the music starts on track one , side one and a handfull of clicks at the very end of this track.

LABELS: These are the rough textured black/silver Track labels each of which is excellent. No spindle hole wear, a few snail trails and no unwanted writing or other marks.

COVER: The all-important cover is what usually spoils this LP because it is a flimsily constructed unlaminated McNeill press production which is very prone to wear, rubbing and creasing.

THIS ONE HAS NOT BEEN SPOILT AT ALL - IT IS IN EXCELLENT  PLUS CONDITION.

As can been seen clearly from the photographs the cover is perfectly flat, with sharp unworn corners, no heavy ring marks, no surface rubbing, no edge wear, with razor sharp opening edges  and best of all, a perfectly straight, uncreased and 100% readable spine. There is a slight surface blemish top right (see photo) but this is minimal and without this the cover would grade close to mint - unheard of with this flimsey cover.

The LP has its original British Patent No 800513/973939 poly-lined inner sleeve which is EX++.

I am a collector and I only sell records from my personal collection. I aim to be totally objective about the records I sell. However please note that unless the play quality is specifically mentioned records are graded visually. I aim to describe the visual appearance of all items accurately using the standards below which are based on the UK Record Collector Price Guide. The highest grade I use now is NEAR MINT ('UNPLAYED' if still sealed in shrink wrap or occasionally full MINT but only if the provenance of the item suggests this to be correct). Records graded EX+ or EX++ would probably be called 'near mint' or 'mint' by most sellers. Please READ THE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY and study photographs to avoid disappointment later. I will refund only on items which do not conform to the description and standards set out here.

GRADING SYSTEM

NEAR MINT: The record appears to be in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and other inserts are perfect. For MINT grading see above

EXCELLENT: The item has been played and may have some light surface marks but there is very little, if any, lessening in sound quality. Cover and contents have slight wear.

VERY GOOD: The record has been played quite alot  but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Cover and contents show some wear.

GOOD:The record has been played many times and the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably. The cover and contents are often damaged.

I use EX++,EX+,VG++,VG+ as subsidiary gradings. Unless the record is extremely rare I do not sell items which are less than VG in condition.

I obtain a certificate of posting from the UK Post Office for all items. If an item is lost in the post I will claim on the buyer's behalf and reimburse when the Post Office pays compensation.
