This is a original first press issue as indicated by the BLUE TEXT and LARGE PHOTOS on the inside cover and the upside down catalogue number on the labels,but what makes this diffent is that on the inside of the cover it not only has the blue text but the silver text also!!!,see the scan,the song titles are blue and the rest is silver!!!.Never seen one like this before,its like a crossover cover!!! as they were changing it from blue to silver text
The original laminated Ernest j day gatefold cover is in nice condition with no stickers or writing,the front and back are clean with just some creases around the edges and some half moon creases on the front cover near the opening.The main ones though are coming from the spine and are fairly big,these have been caused by opening out the cover.The inside of the cover is a lot better with less creases.The top seams are mint with no wear or splits,the bottom seams have some rubbing wear but no splits and the spine is solid also with no splits
The records which come in original inner sleeves are in really nice condition,at first glance they look better than the grade with full gloss.Sides A+D i would grade a strong vg+ IF NOT BETTER!!,they have just some light marks which can be seen under a strong light.Sides B+C are slightly better with less hairlines,just one main scratch at the start approx 2inc long.The track labels are clean with no tears etc just some light and small spindle marks on the hole.The records play fantastic with all the tracks playing superb,just a little light cracle which is very minimal in just a few places and does not overshadow the music in any way.AWESOME CRISP SOUND QUALITY!
