Description
This is an auction for the second Lp by the The Jimi Hendrix Experience entitled "Axis:Bold as Love" released in the UK in 1967 on Track records catalogue number 612 003. This copy is a first press in Mono with A1 and B1 matrix numbers and is in great condition throughout.
The heavy vinyl is visually in Very Good++ condition with a lovely sheen. There are a couple of very light superficial marks but overall you could even call it excellent for a 43 year old record. The record sits nice and flat on the turntable and plays through without any skips or jumps. The sound is clear and vibrant and sounds really good. There is some very light background noise but this does not distract from the enjoyment of listening to this superb record. I would grade the audio as Very Good++, again you could even say excellent for a 43 year old record. The labels are in very good + condition, free from writing or stickers.
The original E.J.Day flipback sleeve is in excellent condition. There is some light storage wear to the corners and some very small laminate creasing but again for a 43 year old cover it looks great!
The Lp comes in its original polylined inner sleeve which is in Very Good condition.

Grading:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc
