Description

Jimmie Rodgers (1897–1933) was an American singer, songwriter, and musician who rose to popularity in the late 1920s. Widely regarded as the "Father of Country Music", he is best known for his distinctive yodeling. Rodgers was known as "The Singing Brakeman" and "America's Blue Yodeler". This 78 RPM shellac record includes "Daddy and Home" (side A) and "Waiting for a Train" (side B). Visual inspection: Near Mint (clean, minimal wear). Play inspection: Near Mint (plays perfectly). Runouts: 21757B/V40044B. The record is in an original Wards Records sleeve. Well packed with extra cardboard and bubble wrap.
